My art provides a deeper view of the seldom noticed patterns, textures, and details of our common surroundings. It allows us to delve into the micro and macro scales to highlight the unnoticed rules of our own environments.

My work is the exaltation of the mundane. Through my photos, I extract the elegance of symmetry, reflection, and repetition from seemingly trivial objects and settings.

Statement: I focus on human perspective in order to create fresh experiences from past emotion. By illuminating and framing the ordinary, I attempt to generate photographs that are subconsciously stirring while aesthetically satisfying.

My photos highlight sterile, industrial environments that harken back to an age of polished, futuristic design. Striking a balance between the real and the surreal, my images explore an underlying fabulism to late capitalist production.

My work is an exploration of the manifestation of human persona on the exterior. I strive to find the fundamentally similar in the radically, uniquely dissimilar.

This set of images focuses on highlighting the beauty that can be found by placing a group of strong personalities and quiet observers into a foreign country with a thriving and very unique culture. Every photo relies strongly on the spirit and customs of both place and people to fill it’s space and give it meaning.

My work explores the leading lines and contrasting colors of city life. However, I am also interested in meaningful voids within the landscape that at times attract or repel attention. This dynamic fluctuation reflects the increased speed and mobility of urban life.

My work is about architectural abstraction. My photos approach public structures with a fresh perspective that uses composition and color to find the otherworldly within the everyday.
